Data sources & methodology
264Storm combines public official feeds, observational data and model guidance into one visitor-friendly dashboard. It is not an official warning service. When an official authority and 264Storm differ, follow the official authority.
Weather, marine and air
Daily weather and marine guidance use Open-Meteo model data. Aviation weather observations use public METAR data from AviationWeather.gov. Offshore observations use NOAA/NDBC sources where available. Air and dust guidance is model-based.
Storms and natural hazards
Atlantic storm information is derived from NOAA / National Hurricane Center products. Earthquake detections use USGS data. Caribbean tsunami messages use Pacific Tsunami Warning Center sources. Local emergency instructions remain with Anguilla DDM and the relevant territorial authorities.
Beach outlooks
Beach condition guidance combines island-wide modelled wind, wave and swell data with approximate shoreline orientation and exposure. It is guidance only, not a lifeguard report or an official beach-safety rating.
Regional flights
The flight board uses published schedules collected from represented airlines and airport sources for AXA, SXM, Grand Case / L’Espérance (SFG) and SBH. It is not live aircraft tracking and does not claim to reproduce every international movement at SXM.
Anguilla–Marigot ferries
The ferry board uses the published public timetable for Blowing Point, Anguilla and Marigot, Saint-Martin. Weather and operations can still change service.
